Humanitarian aid for Ukraine: Deltamedica supports Ukraine

Times of great need highlight the importance of solidarity and concrete assistance. As a pharmaceutical company, we are not only responsible for the health of our customers, but also for people in crisis regions who urgently need medical support.

In December 2022, Deltamedica provided humanitarian medical supplies to the city administration of Zaporizhzhia, Ukraine. The city and its inhabitants have been particularly affected by the ongoing war – every day, new families are taken in from the war zones, more than 26,000 children need medical care, and the local healthcare system is massively overburdened.

Our donation included urgently needed medicines and medical equipment, which are being used directly on site to care for the population and relieve the burden on municipal health facilities.

The city administration has expressly thanked us for this support. City Council Secretary and Mayor Anatolii Kurtiev wrote:



‘Your generous support strengthens the ability of the city of Zaporizhzhia to provide high-quality medical care to all those in need. These words show that every bit of help counts – and that medical care in crisis areas is vital for survival.
